The Sri Lanka Foundation hereby calls applications for a Consultant – Quality Assurance (NVQ) on assignment basis. Duration of the assignment will be three months in accordance with the PFD Circular No 01/2020 Section II 6(2).
Qualifications & Experience
- Possess a relevant degree or, postgraduate qualification and professional qualifications in vocational training
- Should be a registered Assessor in NVQ framework in Sri Lanka
- Experience in training assessment and evaluation of NVQ programmes
- Advanced expertise in national competency standards (NCS) and curriculum development in line with national (NVQ) and international frameworks
- Experience in registration, accreditation of training programmes with the TVEC
- Advanced experience as an Accreditation Assessor in NVQ framework in Sri Lanka
- Experience in quality management systems and standards implementation (ISO, NVQ etc.)
- Demonstrated leadership in managing quality aspects of training programmes
- Extensive experience in managing designing, overseeing and implementing vocational training programmes.
- Proven record in curriculum development and standards setting for vocational training programmes (TVEC)
Responsibilities
The Consultant will:
- Develop and update training schedules and planning documents, incorporating accreditation and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct in-depth reviews and audits of teaching approaches and content delivery as per NVQ curriculum
- Ensure that all NVQ courses maintain ongoing compliance with standards and TVEC guidelines.
- Contribute to the maintenance and enhancement of SLF’s ISO-Education Quality Management System.
- Collaborate closely with SLF’s Director (Education), staff, trainers, and external stakeholders to align quality assurance practices with organizational goals.
