Professional Certificate Course for Day Care Workers

The course is specially designed to provide knowledge and skills required for the individuals who are running or intending to start daycare centres. It also provides a qualification to enter the local and international job markets.

Benefits for the students

• Students who successfully complete the course will be awarded a valuable certificate by the Sri Lanka Foundation Institute as a registered educational institution with TVEC under the Registration No. P01/0171.

• The certificate is endorsed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as a recognised certificate for employment abroad, at request.
• After obtaining the certificate, students can obtain the NVQ – (Level 04) Child Caregiver certificate through the RPL system.
• The students will professionally qualify to work in a day care centre once successfully completed the course.
• Those who run day care centres will be able to convert them in to recognised centres.
