Deputy Minister of Mass Media Visits SLFI
The Deputy Minister of Mass Media Dr. Kaushalya Ariyarathne paid her first official visit to the Sri Lanka Foundation Institute on 27th October 2025, following her assumption of duties as Deputy Minister. She was warmly received by the chairperson of the Sri Lanka Foundation Prof. Seetha Bandara, Director General Dr Amila Navarathne and Director Academic Dr Saman Weerawansa.
During the visit, the Deputy Minister met with the Heads of Departments and the entire staff of the SLFI expressing her keen interest in understanding the present status of the institute. She was briefed on the statutory provisions, institute’s operational activities, staff performance and institutes strategic future direction including its income generating initiatives and future development plans.
